GRIFF'S DARK CHOCOLATE COFFEE TOFFEE is made locally in the Central Part of North Carolina Distinctive to its namesake(Chapel Hill Toffee), GRIFF'S DARK CHOCOLATE COFFEE TOFFEE is also made right here in Chapel Hill, NC. It begins with a thick layer of traditional English toffee that is then handcoated on both sides with a top-secret blend of dark chocolates. They have added a smooth shot of delicious espresso to enhance the traditional toffee. The smooth layers are then finished off with a sprinkling of fresh pecans that adds a distinctive, and espresso filled southern twist!

We incorporate pecans throughout our toffee to give it a crispy texture and memorable nutty flavor. We also give our candy a light sprinkling of chopped pecans as the finishing touch that gives Chapel Hill Toffee it's iconic, uthwatering look

THE HISTORY OF CHAPEL HILL TOFFEE
Mom's homemade toffee was always a special treat for Mark Graves growing up in his family home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In 2006, after years of perfecting her secret family recipe, Mark's mother, Karen Graves, decided to turn her favorite hobby into her own home-based business. That year, Chapel Hill Toffee made its retail debut at A Southern Season, a specialty foods market in the heart of Chapel Hill.
In 2008, Mark decided to join his mother in the kitchen and help her take her small business to the next level. Four years later, after marrying a fellow Chapel Hill native, Mark brought his wife, Christy Graves, on board as the newest member of the family business.
While Chapel Hill Toffee has quickly expanded to over 400 retail locations with an online store that ships to customers all over the country, our toffee is still lovingly handcrafted in the place where it all began, "The Southern Part of Heaven".
